I'm planning to move out very very soon. I been hear almost two years and the place continue to decline every week. At first, I was so excited, but as time went on I became ill at the site of where I live. The place does not look good at all (in & out). I was told the place was being renovated when I first moved in (never knew it lie). The people that they allow to move in are getting to be a problem. There are loud and nasty people living here. I can't stand to come home anymore. To make things worse, L&I came out and said the place was unfit for people to live, and gave the landlord six months to fix up the place. There were signs everywhere on the buildings to warn people, but of course the signs diappered all of a sudden. I just feel taken advantage of because I am the idealist tenant. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone, unless your just need a place for a couple of months. By the way, they do offer students discounts, which in the long run is just a pay-off to have you living dismay.

It's all very well to claim anonomously to being the ideal tenant, however We all know that L&I is not an honest indicator, and that in fact MAJOR renovations have been taking place (anybody with eyes can count the containers of trash being removed)the new fire alarm system and a definitely better class of people.
Before trashing a decent landlord (and I know many horrible ones) consider the mess they inherited, the tremendous amount of work done and the work in progress.
(By the way, I'll admit it was getting a bit stale hearing about the hallways, however the electricians have started rewireing the entire common areas with new lighting etc.)
I've seen many apartments in many neiborhoods, and the quality of these kicks you no what at half the price.
So if your sweet litle revenge, especially if your being kicked out for non payment, is to use L&I as your misreable excuse, I wish you luck!
A decent observer.
