I am living in Korman right now. There is mental patients living here. they roam around day and night. one guy from maintence told me that. i was in a one bedroom unit before and it was awesome the only thing that was bad was the people upstairs was SO loud. they would stomp their feet and a little kid would be running around screaming all day. Now im in a 2 bedroom and the upstairs people stomp their feet going up the stairs to their apartment. the walls are SO thin. Not to mention the staff here sucks. I called at 10 this morning to get my knob on my shower fixed and its now 4 pm and im still waiting for it to get fixed. havent been able to shower all day. not to mention i have tons of stuff to get done today. Oh and they say fitness center. Its never open !! maybe they should change the hours on that. I would never rent from here again. oh and another thing the washer and dryer situation sucks. its so expensive and dirty. we pay for rent thats pretty expensive why should we get ripped off paying for laundry too.

Oh, you must live on Helmer Drive. We lived there too it was hell. We lived across from the mental patients who were too lazy to dump trash in the dumpster so they did so on our lawn. The people downstairs stole our laundry supplies and people tried to break into my car a few times. Oh yeah and the dumpster was set on fire at 3am once almost setting our cars ablaze.

i signed a lease for this place two months ago, and i am scheduled to move in this saturday. HELP, what should i do? the apartment i am moving in to was rented to this northwest services. the gas company told me this, but when i questioned my leasing agent she blew me of and told me that it was just the tenant that lived there. the place is filled with mentally challenged individuals and they do roam around the grounds and in and out of many different apartments. i have seen this every time that i visited the place, since i signed my lease. i just lost my job and money is tight right now, i don't want to be paying $250. more in rent a month, for a place that is not safe. is there any way to get out of my lease, due to them lying about the previous tenants, and the many surrounding neighbors??? i had to meet a number of criteria to be accepted by Korman Communities. i expected the other tenants to be subjected to the same scrutinization. meaning that i would be living around people of similar means. how can they do this to people????

I am so surprised by these posts! I have lived at the Rushwood property for almost (5) years and I have never encountered or heard of any such problems! I have seen people who are mentally challenged walking on the property or doing their laundry, however, it was never in a manner any different than any normal human being! In fact, they politely say hello and go about their business. As far as the laundry room goes, I have NEVER seen it dirty...and how can (3) loads in one machine at $4.00 be expensive when the average cost is $1.50 - $1.75/load! And as for the fitness center, it is open 7 days a week!!! Maybe some people just have too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do than complain as they bitterly go through life!

i lived in korman for a year now and everything has been great..haven't encountered any problem yet..get the 2nd floor unit..to be sure you won't hear someone stomping their feet in the middle of the night...

I LIVED ON HELMER TOO... I HATE KORMAN SUITES WASTED THREE YEARS AND OVER THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS IN RENT WITH THIS ARMPIT OF A COMPANY IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU MOVE OUT AND GET A CHECK FOR A TENTH OF THE AMOUNT OF YOUR DEPOSIT. THEN YOULL REALLY LOVE LIFE
