Every place has its good and it?s bad and is a different experience for each resident.
This is just my input.
CityView is located in a nice area. It is close to the Art Museum. It has a fitness center, an outside pool, a nice lobby. It is close to Wa-Wa (for last minute items such as milk), Eckerd drug store and a whole foods grocery store. There are also a few bars in walking distance. An Irish bar right next door and a bar in the Best Western. The front desk signs for your packages (Fed-Ex, etc.) if you are not home and you can pick them up later. You can also have dogs here for the most part! You can also rent a parking space in the garage. It is an assigned spot which is good because it is just reserved for you.
You can also rent a parking space at the Best Western (good if you have a guest for a few days).
I was living in Philadelphia for work and was only a renter here. It appears that a lot of the owners rent out here. At the time I lived there, they were selling the condos. To rent there, it was a good price for all that was included. To buy, at first they offered the condos at lower prices and now they have tripled. Perhaps, a good investment for some.
The not so great???.
When I lived there...there was a lot of noise (construction). Fire alarms were constantly going off at night time and during the day. Sometimes for hours at a time.
A little flooding issues of some sort.
Also, some rule about the cable and internet service-you can only use one service. When I first moved there, I had Comcast and had to bascially switch. I don't know if it's a rule but they implied it like it was. So, just ask before calling Comcast or Verizon. There's a business center with a local fax and a few computers (almost always occupied even late at night). There?s also a laundry room incase your unit does not have a washer and dryer or if yours is broke.
I never had any problems with the neighbors. Majority that I saw are young professionals. Some medical and law students. I did not see very many young children but a lot of cats and dogs.
The staff at times tends to be a little nosey like anywhere else with a front desk. Also, be careful with some of the people (workers) there. Do not pay in cash for anything (write checks and get receipts, etc.). Just make sure that everything is in writing from your parking space to your reservations with the service elevator which is required to use for move in?s and out?s.
Also, this place looks like one place. But it seems that it was running under two different rules (North Tower and South Tower). One included utilities, the other included internet and cable. The one did not have as many problems (facing Center City), etc. Perhaps because it was not as old. The building is safe for the most part, but be careful walking to WaWa.
Some of the units are really nice, but they are mostly the units that the owners reside in, the ones that are rented out are just left the way they must have bought them as. If looking here, check out a few different units from various renters. It seems like they vary in everything from price to what is included.
Also, I noticed that for this being a place with mostly professionals, at times it was a little messy (the laundry room looked worse than my prior college laundry rooms). That sort of thing.

Watch out for Korman. Check the reviews for their other properties. They are vitually all NEGATIVE and for good reason. I rented at the Korman Suites down by the airport and it was a miserable experience. Management is totally avaricious. Believe the negative reviews; distrust the positive and STAY AWAY from Korman if you value your living experience.
