terrible management

the staff at the left bank (front door, janitorial) are pretty competent and friendly. however, the property management staff is terrible. they nickel and dime you (even though you're already paying the highest rents this side of the river) and they are non-responsive to inquiries and requests. they will put on a great show to get you to sign your lease, but once that is over with, don't expect much in terms of service from the property managers.
the halls and elevators also usually have this weird smell to them. whatever cleaning fluid they use, its horrible. reminiscent of smelling a used bathroom.
and if you're considering moving in, and have qualms about the building's back entrance, don't be fooled by the managers telling you there is a guard on duty back there at all times. i would say i see a guard back there only 25% of the time, and oftentimes, he'll be gone from the desk doing who knows what. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
