My wife and I lived in the Left Bank for two years and about the only positive things we can say are that we enjoyed discussing history with the night staff and picking up laundry/mail at any time of day or night. Management was greedy and unresponsive and treated us as a nuisance after the rental contract was signed. The former property manager (who was promoted out of the position) literally yelled at my wife and me on move-in day over a clerical error on the lease -- very nice! The only area to live in is the area facing the courtyard, otherwise you will listen to a train and/or live DJ/Bar/drunken undergrads from Drexel on weekends and weeknights.

The maintenance and greeting crew are nice, but must be treated well (especially at Christmas time) or they will turn on you.
