Guess it could be worse...

The main problem is the paper thin walls. You can hear EVERYTHING, and yes, I mean EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing! The next problem is the construction, unless you like being woken up at 6am on a Saturday morning by some loud banging noise outside. Very nice, new apartments, but it seems things are always breaking (appliances, fixtures, etc.) Plus the neighbors not living in the complex seem to be a little unhappy with the new complex and they voice this repeatedly in the wee hours after sitting on their stoop and drinking for a few hours. There is also a bar on the corner that seems to attract a fairly shady crowd, and can get rather noisy. Parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes also, especially if you have a large vehicle (SUV). It is a small parking lot with very tiny spaces. The very loud fire alarm seems to go off unnecessarily frequently too. Management is pretty decent, but sometimes it takes awhile for things to get fixed. Other than that its a fun place to live, with cute shops, a cafe, restaurants and friendly tenants.
