Run, don't walk away from anything that has to do with Tower. I have lived in 2 different Tower apartments since June 2005 and moved only because the maintenance person admitted that a leak in my apartment ceiling was unfixable, yet the apartment is still available to rent. Construction is still underway at Phase 2, which means if you live on a second floor apartment, expect to have excessive banging and drilling starting at 7am and lasting until 9pm. Weekends are no exception. The ventilation systems are poor, I could smell sealant for a week straight from work being done in the shop below. The noise from the shop space below is unbearable, I can hear people talking and can clearly make out the entire conversation. There is no insulation between the units and they were slapped together as quickly as possible so Tower can rent them out. The "hardwood" floor is actually pergo on top of lineolium tiles, that starts to buckle within a few weeks, but as long as you keep 80% of the floors covered as per your lease, you won't have to look at the buckling. The access panel for the wiring for this unit was covered up by an air duct, so no repairs can be completed. The most recent bonus to my living here is a sprinker company was here conducting a test (on a Sunday) and set off the fire alarm. The alarm continued to sound for 40 minutes because nobody could figure out how to shut it off. Not only did the fire department not make an appearance, neither did a representative for Tower. For what you will pay here, it is not worth the grief and aggrivation of the shoddy workmanship and lack of response and care by the management.

Sounds typical for TOWER.

is this a common theme for tower?

Went to see Phase 2 yesterday, like the floorplan but "concerned" what actual tenants thought. Thank you for your review, this seems to be the sentiment regarding Tower properties. Thanks for the truth.
