Wouldn't choose to live here

I'm a traveler. My company provides this place to me for 13 weeks. Smallest apartment is not 588 sq feet- more like 400! So look at apartments before you move in. They lie. No token welcome gifts when I moved in. Luxury apartments, they are not. Security questionable. Maintenance not responsive. This is not the best place that I have lived, by a long shot. One of the least desirable, if not THE LEAST DESIRABLE. Moved in after labor day, looking forward to being able to take a swim now and then, but the pool was already closed despite hot weather. They have no business center, unlike most complexes. For the price of a rental here, the services are pathetic. My particular customer service person has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and can't handle the minimal stress of her job. There were someone elses things in the apartment when I moved in and it wasn't cleaned very well. "Patio" and patio doors filthy, screen door f____up and feel out. There is trash in the breezeway and dog crap and trash abounds in the grassy areas. Can't open the bedroom window to enjoy fresh air because all the air conditioning units are next to and IN FRONT of the bedroom window. Phone service of previous resident still is active and I've been trying to get mine activated for 2 weeks, without success. The last tenant just used the previous tenant's line, so this has been an ongoing phenomenon. Only solution is wiring a new line and I've been told that this has to be approved by the PA Public Utilities Commission first. So, no long distance or local long distance until then. I'll probably be gone by then. Major concern is that I have a security system that must be interfaced with my phone line in order to be effective. If I didn't have to be in Philadelphia for these three months, I wouldn't be here now. If I need to stay for an extended amount of time, I will move to Bryn Mawr or South Jersey. The quality and standard in this area are low because there is such demand for housing from the area schools.
