If you are planning on moving into Lincoln Green think again. My roomate and I are terribly disappointed with how management has gone down since we have moved here. We put together a list of things that people should know that we wished we knew.
1.) For this place to have been built not that long ago it's condition is not up to par. Things are constantly breaking such as: blinds, light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, screens, washer and dryers. Maintenance comes into your apartment to fix things even when you request that they come only when you are there. When maintence does come they tend to make a mess. I had some cloths on the floor and they stepped on them with their dirty work boots and I had to take everything to the dry cleaners. Not only that but they do not come in a timely fashion

2.)When the apartment complex itself are having repairs (i.e. re-paving the parking and shutting off water) it always takes a lot longer then what they say. For instance management said they would have our water tured back on after 2-3 hours and it wound up taking the whole day as well as half of tyhe next day. Just imagine your daily routine without water.

3.) Security companies that "patrol" the complex are changed consistently. Plus the security guards themselves are not to be trusted. They do absilutely nothing to make you feel safer.

4.) Every summer we experienced terrible ant problems. If you have allergic reactions to bugs like me you would not be happy. There was a massive trail of ants crawling on our couches, the ceilings, and in our kitchen. We called the the office to tell them about our problem and they didn't seem to think it was a big deal. There response was the exterminater only comes every 2 weeks. My roomate and I then had to move out of our apt. and stay at our relatives house until then because we have allergic reactions to ants. Then even after the exterminater came it got worse (somehow) and we demanded he come back the next day or we would bill them for our own exterminater. The issue was resolved 4 weeks later.

4.) People's apartments were getting robbed and it was clearly an inside job. Lincoln Green hides this and denies this to the best of their ability. But we knew the people it happened to and after that we heard about even more incidents. Lincoln green's response was to make sure we had our dead bolts locked if we were alone in our apartments. (Ya we felt safe)

5.) Management is in all honestly terrible. They are all rude and not helpful. They won't return your calls and could care less what is going on in your apartment b/c it isn't them.

6.) You pay wayyyyyy to much money for what you get.

I guess we are just terribly disappointed because this place has so much more potential but it is under terrible management. We only stayed here for 3 years because we went to school near by and it was to much of a hassle to move. I would not recommend staying here, look elsewhere.
