This is the first review I am writing. I got so annoyed at the last poster that I decided to post my own review. The last poster did nothing more then insult the person who posted before them. There is a saying that goes, "do not shoot the messenger". I read the review where the person who wrote it said the building was full of white trash and despite his language, I agreed with everything he said. And I think the person addressed the real and serious problems present in this building. But the next poster decided to just post a message insulting the reviewer. Instead of shooting the messenger, maybe those people who want to attempt to defend this apartment building and it's management, should address the issues and complaints themselves. Do not insult the person writing the review and not even address any of the complaints. The fact that the only people who defend this apartment seem to never actually address any of the valid complaints, make me think that most reviews that attempt to present this apartment in a positive light are written by either staff members or the owner himself.
Now I have been living in this building myself for four and a half years. When I first moved into this building, I had some of the best neighbors. Very nice people. They never were loud. Never disturbed there neighbors. But what gradually happened was new people would move in and would turn their music up as loud as it would go, drink alcohol and yell and fight with their wife and children, stand on the fire escapes smoking (cigerates and even drugs).
So guess what happened to all the nice and friendly people who were living in the building when I first moved in' Gradually they all moved out. They got sick and tired of the noise, yelling, and alcoholics and drug addicts that were the new residents. And it kept getting worst over the years. Nobody who likes peace and quiet ever moves in this building any longer. I don't remember how long it has been since a new neighbor has moved in who I would consider a nice and quiet neighbor.
I'm planning to move out myself in 6 months (which is when my lease expires). I'm would bet money that whoever moves in after I move out will be yet another noisy neighbor. I'm probably one of the last of the quiet neighbors on my floor of the building who don't blast music, drink alcohol, or take drugs.
