I moved into Lofts 640 about a month ago, and absolutly love it here. I used to live in the suburbs and thought that I wouldn't feel safe living in center city, but, I was wrong. Being that Lofts 640 is a gated community, with a secure parking garage that takes you right to the floor that you live on, makes it me feel very safe since I get home late at night from work. Also, the gym is state of the art. I used to go to LA Fitness, but just recently cancelled my membership because pretty much everything I could get there was available in my building. (Did I mention the indoor/inground pool located right next to the gym') And, I forgot to mention the apartment itself....way cool, and huge! If you are looking for somewhere in CC to live, I suggest Lofts640! The staff was amazing in helping find just the right apartment, all the ammenities are here, and just a few blocks from great restaurants...this place is too cool.

You so sound like someone who works for Lofts 640. Anyways, I used to live there and had side-by-side neighbors who liked to watch movies and play music way-UP! After notifying the office, it got alittle better, but the funny thing was one of the neighbor was the yoga and fitness instructor for Lofts 640. I've figure if you work for and live at the apartment that you would follow the rules stated in the contract we've all signed before moving in. The noise continued, so I moved out. In my opinion, Lofts 640 is way overrated and priced for the getto location and the materials used in the apartment. Walls are way to THIN.

Actually.....I dont work for Lofts 640. The rental price may be a bit on the high side, but the rent includes (as you know) a year-round pool, a fitness center, 24 hour door man (2 actually), free cable, indoor garage parking, plenty of off street parking for when you have guests, a four star restaurant in the building, and also some of Philadelphia's best restaurants in the art museum area --all within walking distance of 640. I am sorry that you had a bad experience here....we have only been here a little over a month, and everything has been great. Maybe my opinion will change after being here a bit longer, but as for now, i would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.
