You pay $260 for parking, but the system is anything but inconvenient. I've had to get out of my car and walk around the building to get the gate to open, etc. Sometimes the gate is left open, which is even worse, because it diminishes the safety of the parking lot. It has been a total nightmare and management has been unresponsive.
The place would be pretty safe, but sometimes the guard leaves the desk and doesn't secure the doors so anyone can just come in.
Rent is exorbitant and, of course, keeps going up. The fixtures are cheap, and the edges of the counters are sharp such that I have several scars from bumping into them. The ceiling has pipes running across, which I find to be unattractive. The floors and walls are a little uneven in places, which gave me trouble when I went to put up a pet gate.
Every morning I wake up to a child shouting and screaming in the hallway, and at night I hear people talking in the hallways as they walk by. You can also hear water running through the pipes very loudly because they are all exposed. For awhile, while construction was being done on the ground floor of the building, there was a constant hammering sound all the way up on the highest floors of the building.
Management also has no qualms about selling off a portion of the building that was previously provided for the use of residents. They will lie about it at first and promise to replace it with another space that was not previously available, but it will quickly become apparent that they have no intention of replacing it. They did that with the lounge and the conference room within the last two years. I wouldn't be surprised to see tenant storage space or even the gym go if they thought they could get away with it.

$260 is cheap for parking in center city! If you didn't like the exposed pipes, then why did you move in?
