Marchwood Apartments

Really Nice Place to Live, Wonderful landlord and Maintenance crew From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/23/2003 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2003   I've been a tenant of Marchwood for 4 years now and it's a great place to live. Problems are taken care of in an extremely timely manner...I mean usually the same day. The apartments are large and sunny and the courtyard is beautiful. My only criticism would be if you have young children...this may not be the place for you. It is sometimes difficult to maneuver the old fashioned elevator doors with a small child in tow. Also the laundry facilities are in the basement (where the elevator doesn't go)as opposed to being on each floor so doing laundry can also be a bit of a challenge if you've got a small child. However the Marchwood is great if you're childless or if your kids are older and can help you carry groceries and stuff from the garage up the path to the apartments and onto the "charming" but sometimes cumbersome elevator doors.
