Insults, Threats & Intimidation - it's all at the Marchwood!

Since new management took over this once-desirable building, I (and others) have been personally insulted by management (at first meeting), verbally and physically threatened and generally treated like a criminal.
Rental rates are typical for this neighborhood but there is a mysterious 3rd party scheme involving heating bills that results in freezing apartments and $500 per month charges - TRIPLED since they took over less than a year ago.
Efforts to get straight answers on these and other billing anamolies exposes an apparently well planned cover up, a frustrating wild goose chase and ultimately no real answers. The on-site manager can be seen for approximately 15-20 minutes a week and appears to have no real grasp on what is considered legal and what is not when dealing with renters. Expect to be called a liar, accused of 'not living in the real world' and receive harassing collection notices that include bills paid as much as a year ago.
In an interesting turn of events, once long-time residents began fleeing, we remaining rubes are stuck paying THEIR heat and hot water (they call it communal use). After all, we can't expect the owner to pay for empty units, can we'
I've heard more harrowing stories from residents (for instance, the single mother who came home to find her cooking gas shut off for no apparent reason) but I'll leave it to them to tell their own sad tales.
I could go on but I'll leave it to you to read the rest of the CURRENT reviews. As unbelieveable as it is in 2008, it IS all true.
Don't say we didn't warn ya.
