My overall experience here was good. Locaton is great! Right in center city near food and shops...gallery within walking distnace. I think I would have had a wonderful experience here except for the roaches. HUGE PROBLEM in my apt!!!! City living can bring roaches but never in my apartment!!! It was really unbearable! I also experienced mice! I was horrified. Management was helpful and for the most part, maintenance responded within 24 hours (except on weekends). Pets are allowed but there is a monthly and yearly pet fee- check that out. Rent goes up quite a bit each year. I lived there for 3 years- my rent started at $800 (studio) and when I left I was at almost $1,000! Parking is a task so beware..on top of your rent, you'll end up paying anywhere from $150-250 for parking a block or more away. The doorman is usually on duty & I always felt safe. Beware of electric bill! NO CENTRAL AIR! Windows are old and insulation SUCKS! I know this sounds bad, but really-other than the roaches & mice, it was an OK experience. FYI- a nieghbor who I was friendly with, never experienced roaches or mice so...although we did see them around the building.
