We have been living there for almost 3 years now. The first year, everything was pretty good. Well, sometimes during the summer we found some roaches in the kitchen and the bathroom, but the building is old, so it's perhaps the reason. During the winter, we see that our electricity bill increases drastically. There are two reasons, first the insulation of the windows is very bad: plenty of cold air enters the apartment. Secondly, they do not heat the end of the hallway, for example, I recorded only 50 F in the hallway in front of my apartment door in January, so the cold air from the hallway enters in the apartment. So now we are decided, we will not renew the lease, furthermore they increased the rent of over 6% last year! They do not open the roof from October to May. They do not replace the old and inefficient appliances.
