I moved out in June of 2003 but here goes...I had mixed feelings. The building itself was fine. The staff very friendly and helpful. Monthly newsletter with discounts at local stores, monthly happy hours with peopel from other buildings. I had no car and found it somewhat inconvenient though. six blocks to the nearest grocery store and equally far to the Reading Terminal Market. Not terrible but not great. Teh area is pretty dead but is slowly improving. Cafe Lift is not too far. Westy's (1 block away) is a good place to catch a game. Kelli ann's at 16th and spring garden is cool. Siam Lotus at 12th and sprring garden is great. the garage is nice but is $150/mo. the view is amazing and if you can find your way onto the roof, you'll enjoy the fourth. the utilities were extremly high in the summer due to the size of the windows (and we were facing south). However, we got so much sun in the winter we only had the heat on for a few weeks so it was pretty cheap in the winter. The apt's were nice but maitenance tended to use cheap stuff for thigns like cabinets, toilets, etc that tend to break. Great place to live if you commute to the burbs by car though.
