I've lived in a few places in Philly before moving to Packard and this is by far the worst apartment yet. If you work late and like to sleep in to get well rested, don't count on Packard. They started construction recently and it starts from about 7:30 or 8 in the morning till the afternoon. Even with other tenants complaints the management puts no effort to accomodate. It's horrible, for the month I've been disturbed by the drills and sawing and unbearable noise so early in the morning it drives me nuts!!!. So please please take your hard earned money anywhere other than Packard Motor Car.

I don't live at this building, but I can't understand why you gave everything about this building (parking/maintenence/safety/etc..) a 1 rating if the only thing you are complaining about is construction (which, is a reality of life in the city, and something that will not last forever). And actually, if construction is being done to the building, I would think of it as a good thing, because in the long run, the building is being improved upon, and I can't see any fault in that. Maybe you should think about writing a more thorough review - there are people out there (like me) looking *real* negative and positive issues with these apartment (like if they have mice, and an exceptional maintenence staff) - you know, things that matter in the grand scheme of your quality of life in the long run, so we can make a mature and informed desision about this place. I understand your frustration with the construction, but this review wasn't helpful AT ALL!
