Good choice in the city if you can afford the rent

Our rent was increased last year from 1130 to 1340 per month for a 1 bed 1 bath with 705 square foot single story unit. The apartment complex has recently undergone some significant upgrades/renovations to the common areas including a new community room with large plasma TV, stove, refrigerator and microwave and the fitness center was upgraded with new equipment also. The main lobby area has been redone as well.
We are moving simply to save a little money outside the center city area.
