I know Park Heights is not the worst, but it is far from the best. Over the past winter I had 7, yes seven mice in my apartment. Little black bugs in the food and fridge, I spoke to --------- about it and she said she had them as well in her apartment. I guess it is okay if managment has them, I should feel honored. One of the door men is too busy screwing the tenants that the front desk is often unattended. The parking'''' Yes, if you want your vehicle towed, if you want to pay for a parking place only to scour the parking lots numerous times to no avail you are better off taking your chances on the street.

When you move out...make sure you do the following: Paint the apartment, replace the carpet, take photographs, video tape and have it notarized or you will be charged for, "normal", not excessive, but normal wear and tear on the carpet. Do not walk on the carpet while you live there, do not not pass go or you will be charged 200.00. When moving out, do not scratch the elevator, or you will be charged. Never mind the hooks do not keep the padding up as they do not fit, this is from --------- herself. The wrong hooks were sent and yet Park Heights has not corrected this in the hopes someone will scratch the elevator and be charged an arm and a leg, and their first born.

In other words,if you are down to the wire and must have a place to stay, try the Rescue Mission, Helping Hands for the homeless, a portable heater for your car, but
not, I repeat, and if you did not hear me, once again, NOT PARK HEIGHTS!!!!!!!

Lastly, they will charge you for everything but they allow the mice to live for free!!!!

In response to this last posting, I have lived at Park Heights for 5 years. Not once have I had a rodent or bug problem. Not once have I had an issue with parking because the spots are assigned which allows you to go directly to your parking space. It seems that this person has a personal vendetta against ---------. However,in no way is want this posting accuses the norm. The owners just did major renovations to our lobby and elevator which include padding that fit and is color coordinated. I love it here.

In response to anonymous, You definitely lucked out by not getting any rodents or bugs to your apt. However, there are apts that actualy did have them. I didn't have much of a problem with rodents most of my stay at PH. However, towards the end of my stay, I had 5 mice invade my apt and little black bugs living in my kitchen. As far as the renovations, so what if they renovated the lobby and elevators; they need to renovate the apts. That's more imporant to a tenent; the condition of their apt, not how fancy the lobby looks. They need to take their profits from the rent they've been raising and put it to better use/
