Park Terrace Apartments

A nice place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/8/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   The apartment was nice; the area was quiet but also near many major roads (the blvd, Cottman, Torrelsdale) so there was plenty of access to stores, restaurants, etc. The building itself was old but well kept and also very quiet because most of its residents were senior citizens. They also had activities for the residents. The apartments are a little overpriced in my opinion but nice. Mine had a good sized living and bed room but a tiny kitchen and no separate dining area (of course I knew this before moving in) although the carpet was replaced and the walls were painted before I moved in, the bathroom and kitchen bathroom could have used updating. It also had individually controlled heat/air which was nice and good closet space. There was also a garbage shoot down the hall and coin operated washers/dryers in each building. I never had any problems in my apt. with bugs or anything like that either or with maintenance not fixing things. The staff there is very nice. What also nice was that I had a key to the back entrance of the building where there was more parking. Overall the parking was ample. The complex also had a nice pool where residents guests could swim in for a small amount of money. All in all I was happy living there and would recommend it. However they are a little pricey so shop around.
