hahah park towne ....has lost its mind From: chrissik Date posted: 2/26/2008 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008 2 responses Hello I have been living at Park Towne for four years, and have been not happy but content....1ust this year this place has decided to do renovations to I guess improve the appearance of the building but the renovations are just as ugly as the stuff that was in it before. I just got my lease renewal and noticed that they expect to raise my rent over 100 dollars....I just laughed at this and decided to finally move out....here are my reasons why....I went away for christmas and cleaned my apartment because I hate coming home to a mess....when I got home I found that my toilet have over flowed and maintnence had decided to clean the mess up with my good towels that I shower with....letting this one go I walked into my living space (I have a studio) to discover a huge whole in my roof with a silver box now inserted in it they call this an acess panel...this is all I know I do not know why it is here or what it does but it is ugly and I am forced to stare at it constantley....also they have people cleaning out the air ducts here and instead of it being done in a day or two this process has been goin on for about three weeks now starting at about 7:00 in the morning.....when i told them to come into my apartment at a later time the security guard took it upon herself to use her keys to come into my apartment....luckily I had locked my top lock but this in itself is illegal...even considered breaking and entering if I wanted to go tere because if someone says do not come into my apartment even if someone has a key....they are not to come in PERIOD!!!!1....I am always seeing the security guards in conflict with tenants and this to me appears so increadibly classy I can not even begin to tell you...They drilled a hole on the side of the court yard in front of the buildings put some benches around it and tried to tell us it was a fountain.....that is no fountain its a splash park for poor people who can not afford a pool....it looks soooooo cheap... In short i am glad to get out of here finally!!!!!1
