Park Towne is what you'd expect from a mid-priced apartement building. Those who feel it is overpriced have not looked at similarly sized apartments in this part of the city. The building is downtown and for down town the prices are low. Their are occassional bugs, but I keep my place nice and see very few. Maintenance is mediocre, but once again this isn't a luxery apartment building. Parking is a problem if you don't pay, but most places don't have any free parking. The iother reviewers either have had a rare bad experience (which happens even in the finest places)so they talk poorly of everything, or just expect a luxery apartment in downtown for low prices, which isn't going to happen. If you're looking for space and convenience, not luxery this is a good place. If you want to sacrifice these or pay a lot more move elsewhere.

Wow; it looks like someone in management wrote this review to salvage the place's reputation, and even THEY could only come up with this. Sad. Says it all. No one should have to live with rodents. Not anyone who's paying ANY amount of $$$.

I agree with you!! Someone in management wrote this load of crap!!! This place is like living in trash can! Well, I guess a trash can would be better! Oh and the rare bad experiences, don't seem so rare!!!! Look I moved from a small town, where there are college slumlords! This place makes the getto look nice! I'd rather pay more and live in a healthy and safe environment then this death trap!

I think most people keep their places "nice", so that argument doesn't cut it. There is no excuse for rude guards, continuous water issues, rodents, bugs and a management office that doesn't return phone calls. I rented an apartment for a lot less money than this place charges and had outstanding service. Count the number of negative responses my friends. That says it all.

I agree...someone from Management should have to live in an apartment for one month and have to deal with others in that office, just to get a taste! PTP is a 100% HORRIBLE place to live!!!

Yes, clearly a member of the Management Office wrote this in the guise of a tenant. Having lived there myself, I cannot imagine any real resident writing such a "positive" review.

Apparently a "loyalty discount" is also an unreasonable expectation here at Park Towne Place. After living here for years, without causing management any trouble at all, I find that they jack up my rent to levels that a new, off-the-street person would pay for an apartment. AIMCO doesn't seem to recognize any 'customer loyalty' by giving you any break at all on the rent. This is a shame, but reinforces to validate all the negatives listed here about Park Towne management.

I agree, this place is awful and there is nothing good to be said about it anymore. At one time there was something to be said about the location, the store, the shuttle, but now they ave done away with the school shuttle and it is so inconsistant and everything else clouds up any positive view one could have of this hellhole. The management has continued to go downhill. They are rude, unhelpful, insensitive, conieving, lecherous, rougues. I was robbed by people who work there, I have been yelled at for it by management, feces was on my hall floor for qite soem time, the gym is always broken or closed. No matter how hard they try to cover up with new paint, the true ugliness of this place exists within its management. They are sneaky. They charged me for moving out 2 days early (even though it was paid) and then when i had the police report (from the theft) to prove i was still there I cannot even get a response from them. They are thieves!!! Check your bills. I am warning you do not move in here- you can find any apartment in the same area cheaper or about the same. Security should not be an issue bc they sleep at P-Towne.

i also agree. Dirty, rodent infested, and the management is rude and unproffesional
