Ok this is my second posting regarding Park Towne, but I need to ask people who have already moved out a question: What was your final balance when you moved out' We just moved out a month ago and I won't go into how many phone calls I had to place to the office (more than 15) to get everything in place before we were finally finished. So when I FINALLY got in touch with the woman handling the final balances, she tells me that we OWE $560!!!! This is after not only being told by the maintenance manager that we wouldn't have to pay for repainting our walls (a fact I realize will be null if she denies it as I think it's in our lease) but also by being assured by this SAME WOMAN who didn't answer my calls that as long as there was no damage to our apartment, we would generally get our security deposit back.

We are going in to the office this Tuesday to talk to these idiotic people in person, but has anyone else had a similar experience' Do you have any suggestions' I'm so sick of this place I just want to get the whole horrible experience behind me so I never have to talk to them again.

I actually sent an email to AIMCO, the managing company, to complain about Park Towne. . .surprise surprise, no response yet.

If you call Aimco's resident relations number they will answer the phone during normal busn hrs. I've called numerous times b/c management will not return my phone calls. Management is a joke.

We also had problems in getting our deposit back. We already wrote several emails and vistied the management office three times. They always say they will contact the headoffice because that's the headoffice's problem. However, the headoffice says they will contact parktown. We already moved out almost four months. Until now, we still wait for our deposit. Have you gotten your deposit back? How? Thank you!

YES!!! I have the answer to this problem because we had to go through hell to get our deposit back and to make them not charge us literally $800 for BS stuff. We had to physically go into the office and simply report to them exactly how many times we had tried to call mangement, maintenance (to do the walkthroughs) and our overall dissatisfaction. Our balance went literally from $700some to nothing. They tried to charge us for all kinds of random things that made no sense. We didn't even have to be rude - all we had to do was simply state the truth politely and we instantly had things stricken from our bill. Go there IN PERSON to talk about it. That's the best advice I can give you. And complain to the management company because they need to know how awful PT is running.

I just received a notice saying that they were not returning my security deposit because of delinquent payments. I paid my last month's rent and utilities and somehow I'm delinquent. I hate Park Towne.
