I love our home. The Parkway House has a greater family and community of support that has been incredible for my family. It is very hard to find large flat space like the Parkway house offers. The neighborhood is a melting pot of all levels of professionals - judges, lawyers, doctors, coaches, mailmen - it is a city within a city, this special pocket in the Art Museum/ Fairmount area. It is true we have had some awful managers and we have had rodent problems during the bad manager years. But for us longtimers it is our home and where we have raised generations of kids, that always had the love and care of the greater Parkway House community. Appreciate what you have and for the most part this apartment building is the coolest gem in the city.

This rating above is probably written by management or someone who is clearly friends with them. The building is terrible and the parking is worse unless you pay for a spot (lets not forget the spring when you find yourself circling the place for hours waiting for someone to leave, lets not forget the letter that was sent out to tennants warning them to lock both locks b/c of apartment breakins b/c security wasn't doing their job, oh and how can we forget all the false fires in the place! PLEASE this place is not a gem unless you consider plastic beadwork from the dollar store a gem. DON'T trick people into signing over their life for a year of hell in the PARKWAY HOUSE

NO, I'm not a friend of the owner or management. I have lived here for 17 years and I am very thankful for the extended family of the occupants. I am thankful that both of my boys have been able to know wonderful neighbors. The rents are way too high and our ceilings fall down and don't get fixed for 6 months or more. The bathrooms are outdated, as is the kitchen. But we do have flat space which is premium for our needs. For the price of rent, we should be getting premium and timely maintenance however, but it depends on the manager at the time.
