It's what it is

I have lived at the Parkway House for about three and a half years and keep telling myself it is a temporary spot in life. It's what it is: a relatively safe place without any fancy bells and whistles. Although my apartment is lovely, with high ceilings and lots of light, it isn't without problems. The air conditioning is a joke. I have a window unit, but everytime I turn it on I dread the noise and the cost. Even with a window unit and my blinds closed it is still 81 degrees and I am not on the sunny side!

Management is terrible. Barbara is crass and rude and just doesn't understand customer service.

Again, I say-It is a temporary spot in life.

I totally agree. This place is horrible. There is NO "central air" whatsoever. You absolutely need an AC unit to survive, and then your electric bill is exactly 3 times as much. To me this seems like breach of contract on their end. I am looking to either sue or get out of this hell whole. Barbara is a terrible Troll of a woman. Also, BEDBUGS! Unaaceptable. Complete SLUMLORDS. Also its far too expensive for a temporary fix. I could pay a mortgage with this money. http://bedbugregistry.com/location/PA/19130-3513/Philadelphia/2201-Pennsylvania-Ave/
