I've lived here for over a year and have not had too many issues minus a few mice and the water being constantly turned off (and of course the heat). Overall, I like the building and my apartment and haven't had a problem with a robbery yet and hope that I don't. To the management that come on this site - why does it seem like Philadelphia Management does not want to spend any money on the safety of tenants' I am sure that one camera on each floor could be afforded. I would also suggest a way of scanning into the building using a key fob or card. It would be much easier for both the tenants and the security guards. It is unrealistic to think that a security guard should be able to memorize each person living in the building (with the exception of Gladis, who is amazing with that). It would also make it seem more like I am living in my own apartment and not a dorm. I really hope that Philadelphia Management will take either of these suggestions into consideration to keep future break-ins from happening. It would also be nice if tenants had received some sort of apology letter or explanation as to the fire alarm incident that occurred on Sept 7th (where is was going off until 3 AM), but I suppose that would be asking too much.

A reveiwer who had been robbed while living in that building said that the detective who responded to her complaint said that the robbery was an inside job, i.e., someone with a pass key. What good would a fob do in that circumstance?

It was just a suggestion. Even if there were no robberies (or the robberies were not committed by an inside person) it would be useful in preventing any outside robberies from happening and it would also be much easier for tenants to get into the bldg. Obviously, security cameras are the what is most needed in the building which is why I mentioned them as well.
