I moved here December 2007 right after the bldg changed hands. A NY company is now managing the bldg and there are onsite Jamaicans from NY that are supposed to be the maintenance staff. I decided to move out within months and gave notice at that time. The halls are not swept on regular bases, and there are several windows broken out in the section of the building I live in. The front door is always broken and the outside light to my entrance is always out. There are roaches and mice; thank God I have a cat, a can of spray and baits. Trash on the propery for months has yet to be removed. Because parking is at a premium, my car was just broken into near the Commodore Barry Club. Because I am a single professional, there are more children than I want to live near. While some neighbors are great there are a few Ghetto folks that make for an unpleasant experience. Like the young Mother who leaves her children home alone so they can run up and down the hall at all times of the night. Or ride their bikes and skate boards in the hallways. Good Times for someone who wants peace and quite after a hard day at work. The walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations in the hall while you are watching television. The rent is reasonable but it is not worth the money I saved and it is not a place I wish to come home to. Looking forward to moving day with anticipation. What ever you do keep looking you can do better than this.

why would you move into a project expecting anything different? 2-$300 more a month buys you a world of difference. If you are a professional you need to dig deeper into your wallet for a better quality of life.
