I've got no heat in my apartment for the second day in a row during the coldest days of the year. Additionally there is no hot water for the second time this month. Maintenance enters tenant apartments without notifying them on a routine basis. Classic Management who manages the building does not return tenant phone calls not even emergency calls. Classic Management routinely sends out late notices to tenants BEFORE rent and utility payments are even due. The two elevators for the building have not passed inspection and break down regularly with tenants trapped inside. The parking lot is inadequately lit and tenants have recently been robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot but Classic Management still refuses to install additional lighting and actually discontinued the use of security guards on the property. Nasty, unfriendly staff and frequently uninhabitable conditions. You decide.

I'm not a 100% fan of classic mgmt however,I disagree some of the things in this review.
1.maintenance will respond when u call(unless u have to deal with ignorant Bertha who doesn't know how to interact with people}
2.Maintenace is required to leave a slip if u are not there and it is strongly enforced.
3.If u r not satisfied with the performance,call administration,and they will take action.
4.They do return calls(especially maint.in the event of an emergency)
5.They donot send late notices b4 rent and heat is due.
No I donot live there however,I am a resident of one of classic mgmts properties and I would assume that the rules as far as their employees are concerned is the same.
I personally find it hard to believe that all of the staff there is nasty!!!THAT IS THE MAIN OFFICE!!!!!
I have been with classic for a long time and I know who to call when I'm unsatisfied if a complaint isn't addressed,and in the end I'm ALWAYS SATISFIED. You should have asked questions and did a little research,then maybe you would have had a more enjoyable experience living there!!!

This response is to cannon 98. Your assumption are incorrent because all Classic Management buildings are not ran by the same office. I lived in 2 different properties in two different areas at one time, and I can attest to the person that you are lashing out on. The offices do not follow the same rules because the first building that I lived in the office was in the building. The second building that I lived in the main office was through Pelham Park Apts.
I had a very bad experience with the first building The Duval, (the same manager is not there) maintenance was slow, never on time, always had problems with the heat, had to stay on their backs a lot to get things done. You should not have to keep calling a higher level manager for the property manager to perform their jobs. I broke my contract!

I said that I would never move into another Classic property. Found out it was under a different prop. mgr., I gave them a second chance and they blew that too. This time it was at West Mt. Pleasant Apts. Maintenance was a little clueless at times; my main problem was with the prop. mgr. She was very nasty to me, always giving us a hard time when things needed to be fixed. The parking lot was too dark on one side of the building, and they would never fix the light. My fianc?? car was broken into and they could have cared less when I told them. They never fixed the light. The washers and dryers were constantly breaking down.

I would say some may have better experiences than others, but you should never ASSUME that everything is ran the same because it is the same company. Maybe in the east falls area the managers are better, but I would never take my chances.

Good Luck
