Great staff, good size for the $, couldn't be closer to public transportation

The Penn Wynn staff was very helpful with processing our lease even though we we moving in from across the country, site unseen. Although the apt. was not ready when we arrived the staff made sure we got into our apt. anyway. Maintenance always came quickly when we notified them of any problems and was always respectful. The building fire alarms worked well, alerting us when there was trouble. Professional pest prevention was done routinely and we never had a problem. The doorperson was attentive to whom was coming in and going out and handled our constant package delivery professionaly and with a smile. This apt. complex is so close to public transportation it is a great location for those going to Center City M-F 9-5. Our problems were a few car break ins (it is at a Septa stop afterall), nosiy neighbors and residents letting anyone in through the back door. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Penn Wynn House and are sad to hear others did not have the same positive experience.

Can someone smell "management". I don't think for a second this person lived in Penn Wynn apartments. This apartment will be great if you like to live in a building corroded with mold because the building was built in the 60's and never weather treated. Also BEWARE of the numerous mentally ill(NOVACARE PATIENCE) people walking around. And the maintenance staff sometimes smell like alcohol or marijuana. And never leave expensive stuff laying around when its time for them to check the electric meter, I heard horror stories. Just please do your research before moving here.

We did live at Penn Wynn and are not management. Our posting was 100% our experience while living there. Obviously this person is not one that had a positive experience at P.W. and chooses to try to discredit anyone that had a different experience. We'll not be posting any further responses on this matter but we do agree "please do your research".
