Great place to call home

A great place for the more serious student to call home while in school. The management at Pennbrook has really cracked down on the kiddies and the parties of yesteryear and keeps the building and courtyard clean and attractive. (Sounds like the last reviewer hasn't lived here at least in the past 3-4 years.) A few families live in this building now, and they are quiet and respectful of their neighbors and surroundings. (I think these may be the Section 8 tenants that the indiv'l in the last post was referring to. For his/her benefit, Section 8 does not equate "welfare people", but more often, low income workers who receive rent assistance.) The students that live here, and still make up the vast majority of the tenants, are mostly upper classmen, grad students, or recent grads like myself.
Pros: Very reasonable rent with all utilities included; prime location for train and bus; pretty, historic neighborhood with Sherwood Park nearby; and friendly, helpful management and maintenance.
Cons: Noise from the neighboring building (Drexel Arms); limited parking; and no recycling.
