I wish my lease would end!!!!!

My experience with the new management was quite the opposite of what the last review stated. First, having lived here for a fairly long time, I was used to a friendly, welcoming environment. Not any more. In fact, the ENTIRE doorperson/concierge crew that worked here was "let go" when the new management came. Fine, but the new men that were hired or "brought in" are not welcoming, and they don't even look up to see who is coming in the door most of the time (so, how are they monitoring the safety of the building') At least many of the old staff had a friendly hello, held the door if your hands were full, and seemed to genuinely enjoy the tenants. Putting men in suits/uniforms does not make them any more efficient than the people that were here before. You can dress up anything to make it look better, but not always true of what comes underneath. Our hallways have started to be painted, but are still incomplete after a couple of weeks. The new management may have the ability to realize that halls need paint, or that carpets need vacuuming, but they have no people skills at all. Maybe if you have no problems, they will be fine...you won't have to encounter them. But, if you have any concerns (genuine problems), forget it....they have already proven that they don't care. The tenants that were currently living here have been tossed to the wind to fend for themselves. I am just waiting for my lease to end so I can get out! Honestly, there are many nicer places in Philly for the money. People have been moving out like crazy around here. Take it from someone who has lived here quite a while....you are not a priority here. Maybe they will change the look of the place, but at what cost to the tenants'
