New Management doesn't equal Better Management

During the summer, the building changed hands and is now under new management. Yes, there were issues with the old management, but the new management is just as bad, if not worse, in many respects. The staff of the building seems to change weekly. Also annoying is the fact that every week there is a notice in the elevators informing the residents that a representative from such and such company will be entering their apartment during the day to measure this or look at that. I personally do not like random people coming into my apartment when I am not at home! This happens A LOT here, so if you want any sort of privacy, you definitely do not want to live here. There are notices posted to inform you that the electric bill payment has changed, that the cable policy has changed, that the package delivery policy has changed, that you need to attend a mandatory meeting to find out about your cable, etc., etc. Also, it will be a shame to see all of the pets go, as I understand the new management is now not allowing pets. It would be nice of them to send some sort of notice around to "officially" let everyone know what changes are being made, especially since the tenants that already live here are the ones most effected. Overall, it seems that the new management is attempting to make these apartments some sort of high-profile, exclusive properties. Fact is, it will never happen under the management of these people. Tenants are itching to move out, and the occupancy rate is very low. Perhaps these units are being renovated to be sold as condos' Don't know, but I do know that I can't wait to stop paying these idiots more to do less. Rent is very high in that no utilities are included. Look elsewhere before you decide. Unless, of course, you like looking for little notices in the elevators and under your door about what meeting you might need to attend, what random people might be coming into your apartments, or what you might be paying for that is being taken away from you. Happy hunting!
