They will not fix anything unless you call every day (seriously). And if you put a request in you better call at least 3 times after that to make sure the lady you spoke actually wrote it down and put it in the system. It is such a pain to get things fixed in this place and so many code violations that I can see with one eye. DO NOT MOVE in here, you'll be given the run around about almost everything. My front door in my building has been broken and not fixed for an entire year despite putting in a request. I'll be out of here soon enough.

I think "aprilshowers70" either works there or is complete denial. When i left i still had 2 months left on my lease.

Okay, jdmac, after living there for two years, I agree with you......I guess I was in "denial", as you put it.
I moved out last week b/c my boyfriend and I bought a house, and not a moment too soon, b/c the clientele went WAY downhill, the parking SUCKS, and meanwhile the rent keeps going up, up, up. I got out of my lease early, and I will owe them three months' rent, in addition to already giving my two months' notice. I tried talking to DePaul about this but they will not budge. It's all about the Almighty Dollar with them.
I'm sort of sorry I EVER moved in there to begin with.
