I have lived there almost two years. The space is unparalleled in Philly. Beautiful apartments, high quality fixtures throughout (I recommend getting stainless steel appliances), very attentive and courteous valets (I had some valet problems, but the valet company has changed and they are quick to fix problems) and concierge staff (though one of the best ones recently departed, they are generally very helpful and nice), and excellent security (one 24/7 monitored entrance and keyfob security for access and elevators). Office staff have been more actively involved of late (taking over for concierge staff) and this is a mixed blessing. They try hard, but one of them in particular seems more concerned about petty rules (new rules about access to the roofdeck and conference center) than resident happiness. The common space is unlike anything you've seen - very high quality and quite stunning. Most residents are quiet, professional and private, but we do have some festive seasonal events. Overall, I am very satisfied and happy to live at The Phoenix. People all over town recognize that it is the best apartment building in the city. If you can afford it (and hopefully you would also be a considerate resident), this building is elite.
