Presidential City Apartments

Please do not live here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I am a local student and chose this apartment complex based on proximity to school. The only reason I choose to sign a lease for another 9 months, is becase I don't have a car and have to walk to school. Here are my problems (& the problems of many others): (1) The walls are very thin, you can hear cell phones ringing; quite difficult to study at the apartment. (2) Mice, cockroaches and termites. (3) Very unsafe, the front doors that one has to keyfob in often broken and there is a door on the 2nd floor of the Jefferson building that is ALWAYS open (anyone can enter the building). It has been broken for over a year now. (4) Managment is non-existent; if you want something done, do it yourself, because no one will come around to help you. (5) Drains always clog, because when they painted my apartment before I moved in, the workers washed their paintbrushed down my bathroom sink, shower drain and bathroom sink and clogged it with dried paint. (6) The rent is not worth the apartment.
