I have been living in Presidential City for almost a year. I am a grad student and I am moving out because I can't afford to live here anymore. Overall, it has been an alright experience. I haven't had any problems with management, parking, or bugs. The elevators in the Madison building are constantly broken. There have been several instances where all three elevators are out and we've been forced to use the stairs (its a 12 story building). I feel safe here, even when I come home late at night. The maintenance is usually fairly quick, but they usually don't really fix the problem or they just never come back to finish what they've started. It's fairly quiet except for traffic and the occasional fire alarm. Good sized apartment except we could never fit more than one person in the kitchen.

The building treated our move out very strangely. We used the last month of our lease to move to our new apartment and during the last couple of weeks, management entered our apartment without consent several times -- once while we were there and they didn't even knock. We were mysteriously billed for the month AFTER our lease is over (still figuring THAT one out). Also, our vacuum cleaner has gone missing. Since they are randomly entering our apartment (we are now living in our new apt and slowly moving and cleaning the pres. city one), we can only assume that someone has taken it. I am very disappointed in their strange behavior, as the year we lived there wasn't so bad and now all of a sudden they are doing everything wrong.
