PLEASE DON'T MOVE HERE! Spare yourself the drama.

Management are very lazy and cheap.

They act so damn slow.

A.

If something is broken, they would keep patching it up instead of fixing it.

B.

The latina girl they have working in the office is so damn slow, it's gonna take forever for you to make a complaint.

(She doesn't even look old enough to work ;)

C.

THe building is not secure at all, anyone can walk in.

(literally)

D.

The roof in the front hall caved in a couple of days ago.

They cleaned it up but it's not replaced so the whole roof area and wiring is exposed

E.

Some of the tenants that live here do not act like regular black people they act like N****'s.

They blast music in the wee hours of the morning.

My daughter can't even sleep through it so it wakes me up too.

They have no respect for others and absolutely no courtesy at all.

I even heard a young man beating the living daylights out of his grilfriend until someone called the cops.

He does this about once every 2 weeks.

The apartments have only a few screens and the windows don't seal properly so bugs come in from outside everyday.

(I am a very clean person and I spray my apt daily, but it's messed up to sit in your apt and see a bug wiggling through your window sill or to watch a roach crawl in under your door from outside.

Because the windows don't seal properly water comes in on a regular basis.

I made several complaints about this and they come in and paint the windows because they say it costs too much to replace the windows (Isn't that their job') The large amount of water causes mold which has made my daughter sick.

(Their remedy- paint over the mold).

****I'VE ALREADY GONE THROUGH 2 BOTTLES OF TILEX FOR THE MOLD THAT KEEPS COMING BACK.

There has recently been an episode of gunfire right outside the south building.

H.

If you have trash to take out, you might as well put on your walking shows and carry a weapon because the trash cans are at the back of the north building in a very dark muddy area.

I.

There is no assigned parking but the parking sucks, the back area gets muddy when it rains and snows and I've seen a car parked out front get it's entire rear end torn off in a hit a run.

Two other cars were hit in the same incident.

The mail boxes are totally screwed up.

(God forbid you are expecting something important).

I've filed several complaints about the mailbox and mgt doesn't want to fix it because it costs too much.

K.

If you keep calling management with a problem, they eventually start running from you.

They'll stop picking up the phone and do whatever it takes to get you off the phone.

On the coldest days of the year...a few days ago...tenants had no hot water for almost 3 days.

They keep saying that the pipes freezed over and the office at OLney would get upset when tenants called in.

Same thing happened with the heat.

M.

They've had steam pipes burst on two occasions causing mold in several apartments.

N.

Customer service here sucks, the building should be condemned and management is rude (except for a few good people).
