Not as bad as other reviews lead you to think

My brother rented here and I was staying with him when the transformer was hit. Yes, the power was out for 10 days. BUT he was put up at the Rittenhouse Hotel at no additional cost to him. It was a little inconvenient but 222 arranged for everything and even paid him for some of the food that was in the frig. Also, I do not think that the blown transformer repair/replacement can necessarily be blamed on the building. I think that it was PECO that caused the delays. Yeah, there is construction going on, but that is what happens when apartments renovate. If they didn't renovate then people would complain that they are dated and inferior. Some of the halls do have plastic sheeting on the floor in the areas where upgrading is taking place. As far as construction noise he and I didn't hear very much as they seem to try to limit the work to areas where units are empty. It is not as modern as say Parc Rittenhouse, but then the units are bigger and less expensive especially when you consider that the utilities are included and they do not have all those add on fees.
