My wife and I have been living at the Claridge for over two years (in her case) and roughly a year-and-a-half (in my case). Found the rent to be quite reasonable given the building type and location, and actually less expensive than other high-rise/doorman buildings which did not include utilities. Contrary to other reviews, we find the staff to be very helpful. Maintenance staff will come within 15 minutes any time of day or night. The A/C has been something of a problem during the summer, as our apartment faces the rising sun and is on a high floor. However, we had three maintenance men in for a whole day last summer reconstructing our A/C unit, which improved things. Doormen are FRIENDLY, and will get to know your name. Gym is small, but equipment is nice and there's at least a TV. And the best part: the view of the square and city from the roof deck is unparalleled.
