Mediocre apartments

Honestly I have looked at and lived in many apartments in philly and this is one is not quite the bang for your buck.
Pros: Location, you can't beat living off the square. The studios are not bad for the price especially compared to the studios allen domb tries to push on students new to the city. Everything is conveniently located (CVS, dry cleaners, market) and safety is not bad late at night since there are cops watching the bank and restaurants below. Studios have a lot of closet spaces compared to others I have seen.
Cons: Front desk staff is often rude and always annoyed. They have no sense of customer service. They prove that Philadelphia is really the unfriendly city it is rated to be. The Wannamaker House, the Parc Rittenhouse, Dorchester, Versailles, Wellington, Rittenhouse Plaza, 1500 Locust, Touraine, & Savoy all have better front desks who are HAPPY to help and HAPPY to do the jobs they are PAID to do. Honestly the front desk is a secretary service for the office and not actually for the residents from my personal experience. The building does have cockroaches and mice due to its age and restaurants below. The building has a lot of rules and a lot of hidden fines/charges...we will see what happens when I move out in terms of my deposit. Studios do not come with microwaves which is not a huge deal but the other buildings similar in price do come with microwaves. Bathrooms and kitchens are not updated like some of the other buildings around the square. There is no parking ever available and when unloading in the front (which technically you aren't allowed to do) you often get ticketed for being over 10 minutes.
