When I first moved to this building, I thought that everything was wonderful. But after living here for almost a year my opinion has changed already.

1) there was a major security issue in the building that happened in June when an unidentified man entered the building and tried to enter 2 females' apartments.

2) the rate to renew my lease this year went up by $230 just within one year. And that's for a standard 1 bedroom loft apartment.

3) the neighbors are rude and slam the doors which you hear all the way upstairs in your loft bedroom. (Trust me this might sound trivial but you have NO idea how disturbing these heavy doors slam).

4) Maintenance is very nice here but the few times there has been something wrong in my apartment nothing, except for when I first moved in, was EVER fixed.

5) Out of only two main elevators, one of the two is frequently down and not working.

6) There are problems with the hot water liked others have stated.

7) One of the residents who is a dog owner let their dog poop all over the carpet and it was smeared in various places as soon as you came off the elevator. Whoever did it never came back to clean it up, so it stayed like that for a while until several complaints were made.
