Just wanted to drop a note to any reviews that were written this year. I work here and hear very few complaints in general about the building. I have heard only one lack of hot water complaint and it was remedied. It may be as simple as having maintenance adjusting your temperature gauge.
As for some of the dog issues, we have tried to attack this head on. We strongly encourage residents to leash and clean up after their dogs. There are addtional fees and pet rent to have a dog in the building. We do a pretty good job keeping the halls clean, however it takes one pet owner not to clean up after their dog (or to have their dog unleashed) to leave a bad impression for their neighbor.
It is true, residents do pay alot of money to live here. We have a visable staff and we welcome any maintenance requests and complaints and hope to properly correct them. We aim to make our residents as happy as possible.

This is crap! I live hear and do not agree with this assessment. The building management is horrible and i know that many of the residents complain and are not happy living here.
I have to say i whole heartedly agree with the negative assessments that have been made about living in the river loft building. I hate the management.

Maria, you are the cause of half of the problems at that place. Anyone who believes you is as dumb as your current tenants.
This place is not worth the price - you really can do better. Pick up a newspaper and use the phone (the Internet is not the source of all apartment information in the city). Independent places are such a better value, but they don't have websites and leasing agents and may require a bit more work to find. Think of how much of your lease goes into Maria's salary at the RiverLoft - she's not worth it.
If you choose to live there, expect to either get screwed by management when it is time to renew, or prepare to move out. Better yet, don't move in to begin with.

Maria, your lack of honesty is troubling. If you had any integrity you'd fire yourself. You're one of the main reasons the Riverloft is such a nightmare to live in.

I've lived in the Riverloft for a few months and I've had a reasonably good experience. I do find the apartments to be a bit expensive, but no place is perfect and every time I've had a problem it's taken care of the next day. I am a Penn grad student and so it's extremely convenient to be this close to campus.
