I lived in the Riverloft for a year. Wow. What looked like a dream place to live became a nightmare. Apparently, I was paying $2100 a month to have mice run around my unit. And after complaining to management about our little firends, their answer was to have the maintence guy come by and drop GLUE TRAPS all over my place. Great. As if the mice weren't bad, now I get to hear mice sqealing in a glue trap while trying to bite off their legs to get free' I ran into the previous property manager at a restaurant one night who told me my problem wasn't isolated, and that the building was INFESTED. After telling the current manager I wanted out because of the rodents and because I was pregnant and needed to move cross-country with my husband, she proceeded to tell me I was "stupid for getting married" and having a baby was the worst thing I could do. Are you kidding me'

This place is a mirage. Looks beautiful from afar...

When I lived there, there were mouse traps all over the place in the emergency exit stairwells and in my apartment when I moved in. Did not see mice in the apartment, but that's because of my cat. The fact that the garbage chute backs up nearly every weekend probably does not help with the mice in the common areas.

I lived in the Riverloft from August 2007-May 2009 and never once saw a mouse or had any critter problems. The management was very helpful and living there was an extremely pleasant experience from day 1 - no problems at all and easily tops all other rental experiences I've had. The experience of living there was as beautiful as the building looks.
