Best deal in Center City! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/2/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   I have lived here for two years and believe that this is one of the best deals in the area. Pros: The doormen! They are friendly to those who live here and not so friendly to those who do not. They make the building extremely safe! The view. I have one of the best views in Center City (even though I have one of the lowest rents). The workout room. I do not feel that I need to have a gym membership. The exercise room is great. Other: maintenance is very responsive, the laundry room is clean and functional, and the rent is affordable. Cons: My apartment is extremely warm during the winter. I usually have my windows open and my a/c on at night. The walls are fairly thick (I rarely, if ever, hear my neighbors), but I can hear people in the hallway as if they are in my apartment. Parking is expensive (but Philly is a very walkable city...I wouldn't want a car here anyway) I've read some reviews indicating problems with rodents. I, personally, have never seen nor have seen any indication of mice. That's not to say that they aren't around...I just haven't seen them.
