The building has been converted to condos, with a supposed facelift having occurred. The reality is that the building is still quite a dump. As previous people have listed - the elevator smell dreadful and have vomit stains on the floors, the lobby looks like a decaying art-deco nightmare, and the corridors really smell.

The building management are so busy trying to sell the idea of a condo to buyers, that existing residents might as well not exist.

If anyone is thinking of living here, do NOT under any circumstances, get an apartment on the Westside of the building, below floor 15. there are daily punk concerts in the church next door which go on all evening - often finishing at 12am. After that, a crowd gathers outside to- shall we say - "shoot the breeze"- till late. Believe me, they might as well be sharing your bed.


It is interesting to note that most of the buyers are doing so to lease, so there is no real incentive to improve the building apart from the superficial sense. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
