I have been at SLH for about 5 months, and I hate it. I do not even want to leave work at the end of the day, because of the thought of coming to this ---- hole. The elevators rarely work, and if one works chances are the other elevator wont be working. The laundry room smells like a sewer drain. The dumpsters are horrifying and discusting. The apt buidling smells like dog urine since they never clean our hallways. My apt has mold growing on the walls which they refuse to fix, my ceiling is falling down due to the water that comes in, and im on the top floor. My heat unit does not work, my ac unit has already broken since ive been there. The carpet in my bedroom is ripped up all around the edges, and there is paint missing from all over the walls, which they said would be fixed, but like everything else they wont fix it. My electric bills are 200 a month and before i signed my lease they told me that avg would be 30-40 a month. when i complained about it, they lied and told me they had an electrician come out to look at my meter. My meter was never checked according to the electric company.
When I moved in the apt was so dirty that i wouldnt live there for a few days. They told me they would have someone come up and clean my whole apt. Well 3 days later i still had dirty Q-tips that werent mine all over the bathroom. The fridge is so stained nothing will remove the filth from it. My oven was so greased over and smelled.
This is not a joke, They will lie and tell you that they are fixing things just to get you in, they will not fix anything!!!! Please dont put yourself through what myself and the other tennants have so far. There are def other places to live. I would rather take my bed on the street and sleep than stay in my apt any longer
