Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to live at Scotchbrook for 1 year because I relocated to another state. However, I can honestly say that I hardly had no complaints.
This was my first apartment and I lived alone but I felt completely safe at all times. The apartment is somewhat secluded and I loved every minute of it. It was like living in the suburbs and city at the same time. Although parking could be horrible at times, I used my driveway and when I had company, usually, I would park in the garage and let them use my driveway. Most of the people who live here are either students or professionals so during the day hours, parking was available but after the "9-5", you could forget it. However, with the peace of mind, I didn't mind the parking situation at all.
The space in the apartment, the neighborhood, my neighbors and the peace was wonderful. Although my unit was in front of a train track, the 1 or 2 minutes of noise from the train didn't compare to the noise level that I have experienced in other parts of the city.
Maintenance was "very" prompt. During the year, I had a few maintenance requests(all being my fault) but I always received same day or next day service.
My only dislikes was that I had no real yard and no utilities were included with the apartment. The rent was kind of pricey but it was worth every penny. I rented the A-unit so I had a small area that I really wouldn't call a yard on the front and the side. Since I had no children, it wasn't really a problem and when I had children over, my neighbors were nice and always allowed them to play in their yards. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
