I read the negative comments and I can't help but think that folks need to take some responsibility for their choices. ALL LOFTS are quite noisy. I did not realize how noisy but I understand why. It's a rehabbed factory or warehouse so there are trade-offs. You get 13 ft ceilings, a huge amount of space, hardwood floors, large windows, brick walls, etc. You ARE going to hear people walking above you if they have shoes with any kind of hard heel on ... they're not doing it to annoy you, that's what hardwood floors sound like.
Personally I have never seen any dog waste or urine in the hallway & in fact have come home to find the entire hallway being mopped at least once a week. ERNIE is the onsite manager and I think the guy does a great job of meeting your needs. I have heard this from several people residing in the building. Not easy to keep everyone happy. IMO he is prompt, flexible, & fair ... can't ask for much more then that.
To sum this place up, YES, it is in Northern Liberties ... NO, it is not VERY quiet ... YES, there are dogs (no matter where you go some people do not clean up after or "parent" their dogs very well). You get a ton of open space, w/d hookup IN THE UNIT, any size dog is welcome, the outside grounds are basic but clean, onsite management appears genuinely concerned and is responsive.
