Apartment care is at it's worse. Windows are unsafe and intruders can easily access the premises by lifting the windows out of the frames. Building structure is weak and apartments are extremely unlevel. The walls are beat up and the patch work is highly visible and in places not even painted. I had a door that had a hole in it and the door was repaired by 10 pounds of plaster. Carpets are not totally stripped from the floors and new is placed over the old and there were smells of pet odors. The apartment at the time I rented it was filthy, we found a dogs play toy under the oven 2 years later along with smelly dried up food. They DO NOT practice child safety. Kids are constanly climbing trees and getting into the trash dumpsters.
Alot of the entrance doors do not lock properly nor have been fixed.

Our life here was the pits. Maintenance is unable to fix problems. I had a number of water leaks that took over a year to fix. I had a mold problem in which I was told that there was a process to get rid of it, another manager said that painters would dig the mold out and in the end, painters just spray painted the mold and rolled paint over top of it. I called maintenance for a problem and was told on Tuesday they would come out to fix it and that Friday I had to call them to ask if they got lost getting to me cause they didn't show up. Basically maintenance is under staffed and if you have a problem you better move them in with you till it's fixed. Parking lots are crowded and they tow cars away without warning. There is no security here; gangs graffiti, sell drugs, one tennant was raped in a patch of woods behind one of the buildings, a child was molested also. One lady died in her apartment and wasn't found for 2 weeks cause someone was tired of the dead body odor. Fire alarms are constanly going off for no reason. Once a month there are power outages for more than 4 hours at all different times; alot is from old transformers that they will not replace.
In late fall early winter they shut your heat off to maintain the heaters in which you have 0 control over. Thermostats on the walls are shorted out and still have electric running to them, there is a valve like a water valve to control the heat in which in all in the buildings are fully on due to leaky windows and it's still cold. Rent is constanly going up and is high priced from the start. Rent is raised because of repairs and increases in gas & water. The air conditioning vents are located right next to the water pipes, and when someone in another apartment turns on their water, it bothers you from the high-pitched whistling sound.
Electric bills are super high even with non use of the air conditioner. Clothes washers eat clothes. There is no place for storage of say Christmas things. My oven had rust on it. The doors to enter the apartments have big gaps allowing heat and air conditioning to escape. Hallways have a locker room smell and have a time released scent spray to try and cover up the odors. The little decks they have are weak and unsafe and need repairs. The staff seems to be against you rather then work with you-they can and have been very rude and mouthy and quick to blame you for problems. Most doors in my apartment never closed properly and if they did you had to force them open from the tons of paint on them. After I finally got a reapir fixed properly at 5 pm 2 painters came to paint, told me they were going to get their paint buckets and would be right back. At 7pm the finally returned with 6 people to paint a spot the size of a dinner plate. They speak no English so communications with them is nil. The process for maintenance for emergencies after hours is a mess, on hold for long times, you have to wait for the maintenance man to call you back ask you whats wrong and you have to wait for them to come to you from their home. Bathrooms have tons of caulk and the tiles are falling off the walls in the tub/shower area. Closet space is small and the bi-fold doors are hard to operate due to age, abuse and poor maintenance. I had complained about a neighbor above me and was given a form to fill out including my name and apartment number and was told to put it in the neighbors door. Parking lots are also poorly lighted and lights that are burned out were never replaced along with potholes. I complained about my windows being bad and was told to call it in before Janurary then was told they went over their budget and I couldn't get the windows fixed or replaced.

"Good points" is that the location is close to a hospital and shopping areas and public transportation. They have a pool which you have to buy a membership and a small fitness center you have to buy a membership for. Tennis courts that are free. No benches or playground areas.
